Crisis management:

Crisis and change have become common phenomena which unsettles the individual and family. Every few years an uncontrollable economic or a financial crisis emerges; personal crisis have also become common. Crisis management and change has become part and parcel of our daily lives; crisis impacts the physical, general, emotional and spiritual aspects of our life. Results cannot be achieved overnight as crisis tends to last longer and cannot be cut short. We all got to evolve to be the lucky ones ...

Few tips to manage crisis and the change:
-First, be prepared to accept change and crisis with an open mind. Change and crisis is a constant feature of our life; they take time and nothing remains as it used to be in the past.

-Be aware of our self, environment and the trends that may impact us.  Danger always lurks around.

-We have got to be the change as governments and corporate cannot be relied upon always as they too have their own limitations. Don’t rely on others except your family -  help yourself! Be the change you want to be.

-Stay calm, patient and forward looking will help ride the crisis wave and think long term.  Keep the sense of humor; it keeps up the happiness and morale.

-Make right choices. Short term adjustments will be required to achieve long term goals. We need to step back to leap forward – the long jump.

-Focus on self and adaptability. Building and rebuilding capability, skills, education, past experience, character will strengthen conviction and courage to succeed.

-Retraining, building new relationships, job changes and re-locations may be required – it’s ok to be back to school or lead an humble life!
-Life style will change and so as approach to life - have fun, enjoy life and make the best of the crisis.

-Hard work, personal ethics and values, grit, determination, perseverance and patience are the essence of success. Some stuff cannot be stolen if valued well.

-Stay as one team and keep the family together; good team navigates faster and a good family provides the best motivation.

-Learn, unlearn, remember the stories - the next crisis will be just a breeze.
We are never alone - every one goes through some crisis; tell your story, empathize, engage, help and support.

Here is a very common sense philosophy - very useful too to cope with our losses. There are times when we lose a loved one. Losses are inevitable in life. All one can do it to bear the loss and carry on with life. Rajiv Krishna Saxena Keywords: Harivansh Rai Bachchan
